Caution: Do not use the gua sha or the eye roller over inflammations, sunburns or if you have a blood coagulation condition.
Do not use within four weeks of filler injectables.
Do not use over botox injections. Botox puts the skin and muscles to sleep, massage wakes them up (in other words, don't waste your botox!)
Start with The Solution. Melt a pea-size amount or more on your palms or fingertips, and gently pat into clean, damp skin. Glide over your face, eye area, lips neck, decolletage, and behind your ears.
Uplifting Gua Sha Massage. Reduces puffiness, alleviates tension and tight fascia, and lifts and sculpts skin by improving circulation.
Hold the tool at a 30 to 45-degree angle and gently glide it across your skin. Always move upward, following the lymphatic flow. Repeat each motion three to five times before shifting to the next area.
- Neck: Starting at the back of the neck, glide the widest part of the qua sha upward from the collar bone. Continue to the sides and the front of your neck, gliding the tool up to the jawline.
- Jawline: Using the notched section of the gua sha, glide it upward from the center of your chin to your earlobe, pressing your finger gently into your skin at the starting point to anchor the skin.
- Cheeks: Using the curved section of the qua sha, begin at the nose and sweep upward along the cheeks and cheekbones toward the ears. Glide once, move down slightly, and glide again, repeating until you reach the chin.
- Undereye: Glide from the inner corner of the eye outward to the temple, using the section of the gua sha that feels most comfortable for you.
- Brows: Move the narrow round of the gua sha, glide it along the top of the brow bone, from the inner brow outward.
- Lips: Glide back and forth over your lips about five times to plump.
- Forehead: Using the curved side of the gua sha, start at the center of your forehead, divide it into three sections, and glide the gua sha outward. Glide once, move slightly down, and glide again. Move down and glide once more.
De-Puff Eye Roller Routine. Use the eye roller by starting at the inner corner of your eye and rolling outward toward the temple. Roll under the eye and on the brow area. Repeat this motion several times for each eye. Be sure to apply gentle pressure, as the skin around your eyes is delicate and requires careful handling.
For areas with more pronounced puffiness or dark circles, focus additional time there, but be careful not to overdo it.
